Text Box: From the dining area and deck, now looking Northeast, you see the Hood River Bridge connecting Washington and Oregon.
Windsurfers & kite boarders at "the Marina" are visible on windy days. Sternwheeler vessels and tugboats pushing cargo barges ply these waters and provide an interesting nautical variety.
Train traffic along the river and the occasional seaplane take-off or landing create constant interest for Gorge Getaway visitors.
